Write a story in about 150 words using following hints: A gentleman often forgot things -- invited his friends and family memebers in a party -- no one came -- he forgot to deliver invitation cards

There once was a honest man, although he was prone to forgetting things. He once planned a lavish feast at his home, expecting a large number of friends and family members to attend.

He announced that everyone was expected to arrive at 8 p.m. The man was shocked when he discovered that even though it was 8:30, none of his family members, friends, or colleagues had shown up.

Being Furious, the man took a seat in a chair and thought about what happened. He had a chair in front of his writing desk.

Abruptly, the man absentmindedly pulled open the writing table's drawer. He was shocked and angry at the same time when he opened it.

He discovered all of the invitation cards he failed to deliver there. Not one letter had been dispatched.

Finally, the man lost his cool and started blaming himself for having forgotten something so important.

Moral of the story: Always ensure that important tasks are completed to avoid unnecessary disappointment.

Paragraph on brief History of Science
